Catherine’s joy of reading started when she was a kid, losing herself for hours inside big, escapist adventures that she’s since set out to write. She has a bachelor’s degree in literary studies, which felt like cheating her way into a college degree, but it turns out they do hand out diplomas for reading books all day. Huzzah!

She lives by the water with her family, where she’s usually found on a porch, distracted by a rainstorm, or birds, or any of the other myriads of extraordinary everyday things that form the seeds of future stories.

Catherine is represented by the amazing Melanie Figueroa at Root Literary Agency.
